Description and technical characteristics Role: Protect the pump from water impurities (sand, rust, debris).

Materials: Sturdy body in black cast metal (often brass or treated aluminium).

Top cap: Blue plastic part with a hexagonal imprint. It unscrews with an Allen key to access the stainless steel filter screen and clean it.

Drain/bleed screw: A small golden brass plug is present on the side to drain the residual water.

Connections: Male thread on one side to screw onto the pump's suction, and female thread on the other to secure the water inlet.

Bouchon supérieur : Partie en plastique bleu dotée d'une empreinte hexagonale. Elle se dévisse avec une clé Allen pour accéder au tamis filtrant en inox et le nettoyer.

Vis de purge/vidange : Un petit bouchon en laiton doré est présent sur le côté pour vider l'eau résiduelle.

Connexions : Filetage mâle d'un côté pour se visser sur l'aspiration de la pompe, et filetage femelle de l'autre pour fixer l'arrivée d'eau.
